Alessandro Elli was born in Brianza in 1968. Having graduated from the State Institute of Art in Cantù, he attended the Polytechnic University of Design in Milan, with a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design. His first experience in the design field was in the studio of the architect Paolo Nava and then collaborating with the architect Paola Navone. In 1999, with the Carugo studio, he created his own signature products with Carlo Ballabio, marking the start of his career which allowed him to happily and easily drift between the roles of designer, art director and graphic designer, commissioned mainly by the furniture sector. The companies with which he collaborates are: Bross, Di liddo & Perego, Emmemobili, Linfa-design, Milano bedding, Nespoli-Consonni, Salcon imbottiti, Servetto, Pamar and Ydf. In 2004 , Escher produced by Emmemobili was exhibited at the Triennal in Milan, in 2005 the same product was at Clac in Cantù as part of the “Infinite City” exhibition. The Cubik collection designed for Di liddo & Perego won the “Special Tiziana Mascheroni Award” in the Young & Design Competition in 2005.
