Björn Dahlström, industrial and graphic designer, was born in Sweden in 1957 and founded his personal studio in 1982. He focuses on graphic design for clients such as Ericcson, Scania, Atlas Copco etc. Each day, his work is orientated towards the industrial design field. He collaborates with important international companies, such as Atlas Copco (building products), Krups (electrical appliances), Playsam (wooden toys), Magis Italia (plastic products), Pamar (furniture handles), Plank Italia, Lammhults, Disegno David (furniture), Marimekko (printed textiles) and the Swedish Museum of Architecture (display and exhibition design). Björn Dahlström has received multiple awards at national and international level. He won the Excellent Swedish Design Award consecutively from 1991 to 1998. Furniture of the year, selected by the Swedish Magazine Sköna Hem and in 1995 the Design Prize. His designs have been represented at the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg, in Sweden and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Björn Dahlström has worked as a professor at the University College of Arts Crafts and Design and was also a lecturer at the Beckmans Design School in Stockholm.
