Pinuccio Borgonovo

Pinuccio Borgonovo born in Giussano (MI) on the 25th September 1956. Following his studies at the State Institute of Art in Cantù, he gained significant experience in the Design Centre in one of the most important furniture industries, where he acquired extensive experience in materials, their technological applications, product engineering and problems relating to industrial design. In 1987 Borgonovo went free-lance, becoming a consultant for some leading furniture companies. From collaboration with the Research and Development Centres and their designers, he produced internationally successful products. In 1992 he started collaborating with Former, for which he designed a full collection based on innovative concepts that enable, among other things, development of the first modular system to appear on the market with finished, multi-functional elements. In 2001, for Citterio, he created a new home concept founded on the idea of space where products interact, characterised by a decisive technical arrangement. As well as designing and industrialising his products, for certain companies, Pinuccio Borgonovo also develops artistic direction and coordinated image strategies. He designs for various companies in the furniture sector, including: Citterio, Flou, Former, Gallotti e Radice and Pamar.
